The new BMW M3 CS has a distinct personality, unique design components, and the capacity to offer radiant sensations thanks to a revised chassis, reduced weight, and increased power. As a result, the BMW M3 Sedan can provide an exceptional driving experience without sacrificing functionality or everyday usability.
The new BMW M3 CS engine is identifiable from the BMW M4 CSL, which was released in 2022, and is based on the engine found in the BMW M4 GT3 competition version. In addition to 40 hp more power than the BMW M3 Sedan Competition, the driver of the BMW M3 CS is greeted by a substantially quicker engine response and power delivery. The maximum power is 550 horsepower, with a torque of 650 Nm. The M Driver's Package, which is standard in the BMW M3 CS, allows for a 3.4-second acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h and an electronically limited top speed of 302 km/h.
The sophisticated all-wheel drive system M-xDrive enhances the power delivery and driving experience of the new BMW M3 CS. The driver can activate the 2WD mode with pure rear-wheel drive by switching from the usual 4WD setting to 4WD Sport mode, which transfers a greater proportion of the engine's torque to the rear wheels via the M-Setup menu. An even more intense drive is provided for expert drivers by delivering the drive just to the rear wheels and turning off DSC (Dynamic Stability Control).
The new BMW M3 CS's chassis setup has been fine-tuned based on engine characteristics, overall vehicle design, and weight distribution. The DSC system and M Dynamic Mode model-specific parameters have also been modified to the special requirements of active driving. Wheel settings, shock absorbers, and anti-roll bars are automotive components designed to improve driving characteristics. The electrically adjustable dampers of the adaptive M suspension and the M Servotronic steering are model-specific.
