Despite a general industry decline, Dacia managed to grow its sales by 6.8 percent in 2022 compared to the previous year, 2021. In the years following 2004, Dacia racked up an impressive 8 million vehicle sales.
Dacia sold 573,800 automobiles in 2022, an increase of 6.8% from 2021, and reached a critical milestone with 8 million cars sold since 2004 in 2021. The success of Dacia has proven that it provides the finest value for the individual consumer.
Third place in Europe for the second year in a row thanks to a 7.6 percent share of retail sales to individuals: A combined 3.7% of all European PC and LCV sales (up 0.5% from 2021) and 4.2% of all European PC sales (up 0.7 points compared to 2021)
The Dacia Sandero, DaciaDuster, DaciaJogger, and Dacia Spring are the four main models responsible for the success.
- Dacia Sandero: 229,500 cars sold, an growth of 1.2% compared to 2021; the best-selling vehicle to the private consumer since 2017.
- Dacia Duster: 197,100 cars sold, an increase of 5.8% compared to 2021; the second best-selling vehicle for the private consumer in 2022 and the best-selling SUV model since 2018.
- Dacia Jogger: 56,800 cars traded in the first year of launch; the second best-selling non-SUV vehicle in the C-segment.
- Dacia Spring: 48,900 cars sold, an increase of 75% compared to 2021; the third-best-selling electric car.
