Audi expands its support for the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup

Audi and the FIS (International Ski Federation), have extended their long-standing collaboration for another four years until the 2025/2026 season. It was revealed in conjunction with the Alpine World Cup season opener this weekend in Austrian Sölden.

As a result, Audi is the leading vehicle brand in winter sports and is a partner of national ski teams in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and France, as well as Norway and Sweden. Audi and alpine sports have been inextricably linked for decades, with collaboration with the German Ski Federation dating back to 1984. Audi is now the exclusive car partner of the FIS and numerous alpine national teams, thanks to the expansion of the collaboration.

Audi will thus maintain its participation in the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, on-site, and in the media, at least through the 2025/2026 season. The Audi electric cars will be displayed during the well-known downhill races in Kitzbühel and Wengen, Switzerland, to commemorate the brand's transition to electric drive.

"The collaboration in the alpine realm is an ideal platform for us, where we have a great skiing legacy dating back to Stenmark's days. It provides us with a natural framework to engage with all interested in skiing while also emphasizing the benefits of Audi quattro four-wheel drive on snow and ice," Audi Sweden Marketing Manager Madeleine Kjessler states.

The ski season in Austrian Sölden begins this weekend, according to tradition, with giant slalom for both men and women. The men's downhill will take place on October 29-30, followed by the women's downhill a week later in Zermatt/Cervinia.
