All Jeep showrooms in Italy are open on Saturdays and Sundays to meet the needs of Italian drivers interested in the Jeep SUV line, which is moving toward zero-emission freedom. It will be a chance to learn more about the range of 4x4 Plug-In Hybrid SUVs, which will be Italy's best-selling LEVs (low-emission vehicles) in 2021 and 2022, as well as the Jeep Renegade and Jeep Compass e-hybrids, which give customers a new way to get into the electrified Jeep range.
The flow to dealerships is also helped by state incentives, which apply to the Jeep Renegade, the Jeep Compass, and the new Jeep Avenger, the first Jeep SUV that runs on 100% electric power. The Jeep Renegade 4xe and Jeep Compass 4xe are two examples of cars that emit between 21 and 60 grams of CO2 per kilometer. The contribution for these cars is 2,000 euros, which goes up to 4,000 euros if they are scrapped. Many Renegade e-hybrid and Compass e-hybrid models, as well as some with diesel engines, are covered by the government incentive and get a 2,000-euro contribution when they are scrapped. The Jeep Compass e-hybrid in the Longitude setup is offered at a special price of 249 euros per month, which includes two years of maintenance and two years of extended warranty.
The electric Jeep Avenger has CO2 emissions between 0 and 20 grams per kilometer. The subsidy is 3,000 euros, up to 5,000 euros if the car is scrapped. On the other hand, the gasoline version gets a 2,000-euro contribution if it is ever discarded.
The Jeep Avenger won the prestigious European Car of the Year 2023 award just last week. A 57-person jury of auto journalists from 22 countries voted for the compact B-SUV. It's the first Jeep model to win the most prestigious award in its field, and it's no coincidence that it's also the first 100% electric Jeep SUV. This model marks the start of the next phase of the Jeep brand's transition to electric vehicles. In fact, four fully electric cars will be on the market by 2025, and by the end of 2030, all Jeeps sold in Europe will be electric.
The new Avenger is a small SUV that fits all of Jeep's traits into a length of four meters. It is in the B-SUV segment growing fast and coming in second in Europe in terms of volume. So, the Jeep Avenger gives you a typical Jeep performance in a small package to give you the most peace of mind. It is the first Jeep SUV with front-wheel drive that comes standard with Selec-Terrain systems and Hill Descent Control. These features, along with the high angles of attack (20°), departure (32°), and ground clearance (200 mm), give the segment a whole new level of off-road capability.
The new Jeep Avenger is quick, easy to drive, and good on and off the road. Its instant torque gives it a dynamic performance, and its quietness makes it stand out. The new Jeep Avenger SUV is made for active people who want a small car with cutting-edge technology. It has a new electric powertrain that combines a 400-volt electric motor with 115 kilowatts of power and 260 Nm of maximum torque with a new 54 kWh battery. In the WLTP cycle, the electric range goes up to 400 km. In the city, it goes over 550 km.
